The Canadian government immigration entry point plus reviewed overviews of the three federal economic programs managed through Express Entry.
Reviewed programs
- Canadian Experience Class — For applicants with recent qualifying skilled work experience in Canada. Meeting the program minimums permits entry to the Express Entry pool but does not guarantee an invitation to apply for permanent residence.
- Federal Skilled Trades Program — For workers qualified in designated skilled trades. Applicants must also hold either a valid full-time job offer for at least one year or a Canadian certificate of qualification in the trade.
- Federal Skilled Worker Program — For skilled workers with Canadian or foreign work experience. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements must also score at least 67 points across six selection factors; entering the Express Entry pool does not guarantee an invitation.
