Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
The application must fall within an eligible field in academia or research, arts and culture, or digital technology.
An approved body normally must endorse the applicant as a leader or potential leader; winners of a specifically listed prestigious prize may apply without endorsement.
The route does not generally require a job offer, although some endorsement pathways can be based on an eligible appointment.
